Statement of the American Health Care Association on the Appointment of Sander Levin (D-MI) As Chairman Of the House Committee On Ways and Means

Washington, DC – The American Health Care Association (AHCA) today commended the appointment of U.S. Congressman Sander Levin (D-MI) as the Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, citing his dedication to protecting the care needs of our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.

“Speaking on behalf of those who provide quality long term care for current and future generations, we applaud Congressman Levin’s appointment to lead this important committee,” stated Bruce Yarwood, President and CEO of AHCA. “Chairman Levin has a longstanding history as an accessible and effective leader emphasized by his commitment to the issues impacting the long term and post-acute care community. We look forward to working collaboratively with him to help ensure continued quality long term care for America’s aging population.”
