Education

CEUs.  Networking.  Peer-to-Peer Learning. Coverage of Key LTC Issues.  Best Practices.

You asked for them. We’ve got them. At the 61st Annual Convention & Expo earn up to 16 CEUs by attending sessions with the most up-to-date information on the hottest topics in LTC:

  • MDS 3.0 and RUG IV are on the minds of every provider. On Sunday, October 10, 2010, get started by attending our MEGA Session dealing with all facets of MDS 3.0 and RUG IV.
  • The Early Bird Gets the CEU! This year we are starting education sessions at 7:30am on Monday, October 11, 2010.
  • Peer-to-Peer Learning. This year, we have identified sessions that provide an opportunity for peer-to-peer learning.
  • This year, we’ve added a block of programming to our Workforce initiatives called Caring for the Caregivers, which will provide insight on stress management, work/life balance and developing a professional paradise.  Look for this track of sessions on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.

Not for Profit Board and Executive Leadership Seminar

Back for it’s second year, this session is designed for not for profit board members, executive, managerial, legal staff, and others interested in not for profit responsibilities as it relates to long term care. Earn 4 CEUs. Separate registration required.

You can maximize your CEUs and earn an additional 4 CEUs by attending the Not for Profit Board and Executive Leadership Seminar, or an additional 6 CEUs by attending NCAL Day, both on Sunday, October 10, 2010. There is an additional registration fee for these programs.
