Identity Theft “Red Flag” Information Toolkit 

AHCA would like to remind our members that now is the time to develop and implement an identity theft program. We are providing a package of information on the “Red Flag” Rules, which became effective November 1, 2008, with enforcement of the second rule delayed until November 1, 2009. Working with both with our General Counsel, Reed Smith, and the LTC Consortium, these items do not constitute legal advice but instead provide explanations of the two rules that apply to long term care facilities.
