To provide leadership and guidance to the long term care profession utilizing the member organizations' collective knowledge, expertise and information resources to reduce the overall burden of compliance through collaboration on those initiatives that are common to the profession.
- Facilitate operational improvements to benefit the profession, including resolution of implementation issues, identification of best practices and development and delivery of educational materials and training programs;
- Present a unified voice to governmental entities on compliance issues common to the profession;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with Federal and State regulations; and
- Share resources to develop valuable work products in a cost-effective manner to be shared among all providers in the long term care profession.
AHCA staff participate monthly in the LTCC, presenting monthly updates, and accepting and carrying out assignments.
