This training program articulates the scope of management and leadership competencies which are essential for leaders working in skilled nursing, assisted and residential service facilities for the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled. Through the one-day training workshop individuals will learn to assess and benchmark their leadership skills and create a "map" to guide their professional development. On May 15, 2009 - The American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHCA) gave its non-exclusive endorsement of the Leadership Excellence Program.
