AHCA and NCAL's Foundation for Quality Pyramid

The AHCA/NCAL ”Foundations for Quality” is the conceptual framework which articulates the activities, focus, knowledge, and resources that long term care providers need to achieve the Quality First Outcomes. This framework utilizes the core values, concepts, and performance excellence criteria which comprise the Baldridge-based AHCA/NCAL Quality Award program. Providers who master these capabilities will likely demonstrate quality performance across the broad spectrum of facility measures.
