All health care providers who administer COVID-19 vaccines must submit specific vaccination administration data to the registry. Any provider registered with their state IIS can also look up any resident’s or staff’s vaccination record, an important tool for assessing whether additional doses are necessary, including booster doses pending approval by the FDA and the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.AHCA/NCAL is collaborating with the American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA) to encourage SNFs registering with State IISs.
