AHCA/NCAL is gearing up for 2023 and ready to work with the 118th Congress; with a new Congress comes new opportunities. AHCA/NCAL will be hitting the Hill on January 3, 2023, Swearing In Day, to meet the newly elected Members of Congress. They will be briefed on AHCA/NCAL issues, learn about the association, and how working together can create solutions for the long term care community.
The association is also anticipating a strong facility tour campaign in 2023. The goal is to have 125 facility tours across the country with Members of Congress. And many tours are already being coordinated. If you are interested in hosting a tour, contact Heather Posthumus or Matt Smyth. AHCA/NCAL will match your location with your district and representative and help draft an invitation. If you’ve never done a tour before, 2023 is a great year to start!
