#GetVaccinated

Your Best Shot at Staying Well

As respiratory viruses become more prevalent during the fall and winter months, the importance of staying up to date on vaccinations is critical, especially for those residing and working in long term care. COVID-19, influenza (flu), and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) pose significant health risks to older adults and immunocompromised individuals. Supported by Moderna*, AHCA/NCAL’s #GetVaccinated campaign raises awareness and provides tools and resources to support long term care providers with their vaccination efforts during the respiratory virus season.

Continue to check back for new information, resources, and requirements, as CDC and CMS continue to make updates given this season’s new vaccine recommendations.

*AHCA/NCAL does not endorse a specific vaccine or vaccine maker unless there is demonstrable evidence it is more effective at protecting residents and staff members.
