What Are the Compass MVP Options and MEC Plans?

AHCA/NCAL Insurance Solutions through Compass Total Benefit Solutions offers AHCA/NCAL members two affordable options for providing many of the health insurance benefits that are important to l​ong term care employees, but that are far more affordable than traditional comprehensive health plans. 

The Compass Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan​ features affordable premiums and co-pays for valued and commonly used services, including mental health services. The monthly employee premium for the Compass MEC plan is $143.75 per month with additional spouse, children or family coverage available. 

The Compass Minimum Value Plan (MVP) options offer ACA compliant health benefits including hospital services starting at $517 per month with other premium options for additional benefits. The MVP options are fully ACA compliant and there are no deductibles and no company underwriting. Spouse, children, and family plan options are also available.

Both plans feature no deductibles and affordable co-pays, and both plans offer pharmacy benefits with low co-pays. Employers may pay all, part, or none of the monthly premiums for either plan.
