The Washington Post Names AHCA/NCAL A Top Washington-Area Workplace for 2025

AHCA/NCAL Updates; Awards and Recognition
Washington, D.C.  The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) has been named one of The Washington Post’s 2025 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. Selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“Being named a top workplace reflects the passion and purpose our team brings every day,” said Clif Porter, president and CEO of AHCA/NCAL. “At AHCA/NCAL, we’re proud to foster an environment where our employees not only feel valued but also have real opportunities to grow and lead in their careers. We’re grateful to be included in this list of excellent workplaces, and we will uphold the title of the honor.”

This is the ninth year that AHCA/NCAL has received The Washington Post’s Top workplace recognition. Only 250 companies made this year’s list.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
