Theme: Art for the Ages
“Art for the Ages” brings together residents, staff, family and the community to celebrate the talents and creativity assisted living residents have developed through hard work and their love of art. Art inspires and brings pride and beauty to those who create it and enjoy it. Music, painting, knitting, carving, model building, cooking are some of the many outlets residents have to express their creative side. We are going to celebrate their creativity and marvel at what they have achieved over the years.

About National Assisted Living Week®
Established by NCAL in 1995, National Assisted Living Week® provides a unique opportunity for residents, families, staff, volunteers, and the surrounding community to come together to share with our residents a variety of events and activities that show them how much we care for them. The 2012 theme, Art for the Ages, will inspire creativity and participation and will grab the attention of local and national media. To make planning as easy as possible, a planning guide and product catalog is being developed, which will contain activity ideas, media kit materials, and products featuring the 2012 theme. Love for the guide in June.
