The American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) are pleased to invite you to our 2011 Developmental Disabilities (DD) fly-in event, held at AHCA/NCAL offices on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 8am-11am with subsequent Capitol Hill visits.
As change continues in Congress, we encourage you to get involved and make your advocacy efforts count. This fly-in is a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with your Members of Congress and their staff on long term care and DD-related legislative issues at the federal level. Share with top policy leaders and decision-makers how their legislation affects your vulnerable clients and how you provide quality care for these individuals. Your presence and voice as a DD services provider is important as we advocate for persons with DD.
