National Quality Award Applicant Resources 

 2012 National Quality Award Application Process

 

Quality Award applications are now being accepted on-line. The first application submitted by a facility will be considered final, and subsequent applications will be discarded. A successful submission will generate a confirmation email. Please remember that applications will only be accepted from facilities who submitted an Intent to Apply payment.

All applications must be submitted by 8 p.m. EST on the published deadlines.

  • Bronze Application Deadline – February 15, 2012
  • Silver Application Deadline – March 1, 2012
  • Gold Application Deadline – March 1, 2012

The application fees are as follows:

  • Bronze - $425
  • Silver - $725
  • Gold - $825

 2012 Intent to Apply Process

 

The 2012 Intent to Apply Process is now closed. Applicants for the 2012 National Quality Award program were required to submit a non-refundable $75 Intent to Apply fee by January 12, 2012 at 8 p.m. EST. If you did not submit the Intent to Apply payment, you cannot submit an application for the 2012 National Quality Award Program.

 Educational Webinars

 

AHCA/NCAL has designed a series of webinars for 2012 National Quality Award applicants. Each webinar is presented by program staff or Quality Award Examiners. The webinars are free and can be accessed at any time, by clicking the links below or visiting webinars.ahcancal.org.  

Bronze Applicant Webinars

Bronze applicants are encouraged to participate in both webinars. The first webinar focuses on the program history and the important technical and eligibility requirements. The second webinar focuses on the Bronze criteria.

Silver and Gold Applicant Webinars

The Silver and Gold webinar series has been designed as a 6-part series, with each webinar focusing on a specific topic integral to applicant success. Each webinar is 25-45 minutes in length, and should be viewed in the order they are described.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ 2011 Notification Dates

The Silver and Gold award notifications will be distributed on the following dates:

  • Silver Applicant Notification: Friday, July 29, 2011
  • Gold Applicant Notification: Monday, August 22, 2011
  • Silver and Gold Feedback Distribution: Friday, October 14, 2011

2011 National Quality Award recipients will be recognized at the AHCA/NCAL Annual Convention & Expo on September 21, 2011.
