Thank you for Supporting A Day for ID/DD Residential Services Providers from AHCA/NCAL
AHCA/NCAL’s constituency education program for NFP providers was held in October 2017, in Las Vegas, NV, and was packed with motivational and educational speakers. The keynote speaker, Alden Mills (pictured), is an industry innovator, Navy SEAL commander, and author. He is pioneering a new category of leadership and challenging conventional management principles. Mills has a proven track record of turning individuals into teammates and teammates into unstoppable teams. He shared his four pillars with participants to building and leading unstoppable teams and why his leadership mantra, “To lead is to serve and to serve is to care,” is the foundation of his Real Leaders C.A.R.E. methodology. Participants also had the opportunity to hear from other top-notch speakers. To learn more about this day, which will be held again at the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo in San Diego, CA, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, please don’t hesitate to contact AHCA’s Senior Director of NFP & Constituent Services, Dana Halvorson.
2017 AHCA/NCAL ID/DD Hero of the Year

Honorees demonstrate selflessness, compassion, and strive to enhance the lives of the elderly and intellectually or developmentally disabled in their communities.
The 2017 AHCA/NCAL Hero of the Year - Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is Cathy Gray, Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities, in Keene, N.H.
