QUALITY AWARD BOARD
We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for membership on the National Quality Award Board.
The Board plays an important role in advancing excellence across all 50 states by reviewing award submissions, applying established evaluation criteria, and recognizing individuals and teams that demonstrate exceptional quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
We invite nominations of individuals who:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and excellence;
- Possess relevant professional knowledge, leadership experience, or subject-matter expertise;
- Value diverse perspectives and collaborative decision-making; and
- Are available to participate in Board meetings, training, and award-review activities.

About
In 2007, the AHCA Board of Governors established the Quality Award Board to promote integrity, preserve credibility and ensure sustainability and success of the Quality Award program. The responsibilities of the Board include:
- Oversight of key program functions, such as criteria establishment, program policies and procedures, Examiner training and review protocols.
- Oversight of the strategic direction of the program, which includes an annual strategic planning process.
- Engage charter teams to support performance improvement and accomplishment of the strategic plan.
- Report to AHCA/NCAL Leadership and the AHCA Board of Governors as appropriate.
