Hurricane Harvey

As Hurricane Harvey barreled through the Gulf Coast, employees of Texas' nursing facilities and assisted living commmunities worked tirelessly to keep residents safe. Unfortunately, while these workers were focused on the care and well-being of others, the storm devastated many of their homes.

To assist the employees of their members who were affected by Hurricane Harvey, the Texas Health Care Association (THCA) Education Foundation established the Heroes of Long Term Care Hurricane Relief Fund.

You can donate to this fund today here.

For more information, you can also contact Kevin Warren, THCA President/CEO, at 512-458-1257.

Hurricane Irma

Employees of the Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) member nursing centers and assisted living communities worked tirelessly and with great sacrifice to keep residents safe as Hurricane Irma blanketed their state. Many of these workers were themselves impacted by the storm.
In an effort to support employees of FHCA members affected by the hurricane, FHCA has established a Hurricane Irma Relief Fund through the Florida Health Care Education and Development Foundation, a 501c(3) tax exempt organization.
You can donate to this fund today here.
