OSHA released an update to its Guidelines for Preventing Workplace Violence for Healthcare and Social Services Workers.  The publication includes industry best practices.  Experts believe this may suggest that OSHA will devote more time and resources to investigating claims of workplace violence in the hospital and residential care environments.

OSHA issue new requirements for Occupational Injury and Illness Reporting and Reporting
Effective January 1, 2015 employers must report an expanded list of injuries to OSHA and revises the requirements for when an employer must report work-related hospitalizations.
