Many AHCA/NCAL members are still working to secure the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Provider Relief Fund (PRF) awards and/or HHS guidance on the use of PRF dollars. HHS has provided FAQs and maintains the Provider Support Line, but some challenges remain such as outstanding questions.
AHCA/NCAL has developed a template cover letter to support members which may be uploaded at the currently open HHS portal documenting:
- Current challenge(s);
- Attempts to secure HHS guidance; and
- Approach to secure funds or a description of the use of funds in the absence of HHS guidance.
