The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) posted a new 45-minute web-based training course that provides an overview of the assessment and coding of the Drug Regimen Review (DRR) standardized patient assessment data elements (SPADEs) found in the Medications Section of the MDS-RAI guidance manual. A brief discussion of the cross-setting quality measure (QM) “Drug Regimen Review Conducted with Follow-Up for Identified Issues” is also included.

This course is intended for providers in Home Health Agencies (HHAs), Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs), Long-Term Care Hospitals (LTCHs), and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), and is designed to be used on-demand anywhere you can access a browser. The course is divided into four sections and includes interactive exercises to test your knowledge related to the assessment and coding of the Drug Regimen Review data elements.
