The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA) announced that providers can now file Level 3 Medicare appeals online.
As of December 15, 2021, the OMHA e-Appeal Portal (Portal) is now available, allowing providers to:
- Securely submit requests for hearing for Medicare Part A and B appeals.
- Securely upload documentation to new and existing appeals.
- Obtain information on appeal status.
OMHA states there are many benefits to using the Portal, including:
- Accessing appeal status anytime.
- Uploading or obtaining information online at your convenience.
- Uploading electronic files more efficiently than sending printed documents through the mail.
The Portal is now available to the entire appellant community. To register and begin submitting requests for hearing and other documentation, visit the Portal at http://hhs-ecape-portal.entellitrak.com.
