New ACL Senior Nutrition Website

On January 25, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) sent a news and events related email about its new senior nutrition website. The email included that, “ACL funds the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) to build the capacity of senior nutrition programs funded by the Older Americans Act. Since 2011, Meals on Wheels America has hosted the NRCNA as part of a cooperative agreement with ACL. This partnership, which provided many benefits to the Aging Network, ended on December 31, 2020. The NRCNA, along with its website, listserv, and training platforms, is now hosted by ACL at https://seniornutrition.acl.gov/. The old site (nutritionandaging.org) will redirect to the new URL for a limited time following the transition.”

The email also noted that, “You may wish to bookmark the new page in your browser and update any links on your own sites and resources. The new NRCNA website has launched with the most frequently used resources, including COVID-19 related materials and resources released during 2020. Throughout 2021, a contracted organization (to be determined) will assume the NRCNA training and collaboration roles and work to expand the site’s content and functionality.”
