Quality Award Board Self-Nominations Now Open!

All those interested in serving as a Quality Award Board member are invited to submit self-nominations for consideration. If selected, Board members would serve from 2026-2028.  

The 12-person Quality Award Board serves a critical role in promoting integrity, preserving credibility, and ensuring the sustainability and success of the Quality Award Program. The responsibilities of the Board include:  

  • Oversight of key program functions, such as criteria establishment, program policies and procedures, Examiner training and review protocols.
     
  • Oversight of the strategic direction of the program, which includes an annual strategic planning process. 

  • Engage charter teams to support performance improvement and accomplishment of the strategic plan. 

  • Report to AHCA/NCAL Leadership and the AHCA Board of Governors as appropriate. 

Eligible candidates should have proven expertise in quality improvement and Baldrige, a strong commitment to the Quality Award Program, AHCA/NCAL, and the LTC community. They must hold a senior role within their organization and bring substantial professional experience. 

This is an opportunity to formally express interest in serving and contributing to the advancement of the Quality Award Program mission. All nominations will be reviewed by the Quality Award Board in accordance with established guidelines and selection criteria. 

The nomination period will be open from October 1 through October 23. Don’t miss this opportunity to submit your name or encourage others to do the same.
