The Center of Excellence Releases New April Education Events

Education; Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF); Programs and Resources

The Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health in Nursing Facilities (COE-NF) released new education events for the month of April that offer ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) credits. In addition to the resources and April education events listed below, the COE-NF continues to provide tailored technical assistance, such as an individualized plan to assist your facility with specific behavioral health needs including training as needed.

The CEO-NF continues to add new on-demand training videos, which includes bite-sized learnings and longer video modules with pre/post-tests on a variety of topics. It also offers a wide array of resources on a multitude of mental health topics via the resource hub.

Coming Soon! Behavioral Health Action Network

Beginning May 2024, the COE-NF will host six monthly one-hour cohort sessions that are FREE to attend. This series is intended to improve the behavioral health knowledge and skill set of ALL staff working in nursing homes. Each session builds upon the previous, so it is intended for participants to join every session over the six-month period. Participants will learn best practices from subject matter experts, gain access to monthly open office hours for live Q&A, and receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
