AHCA/NCAL is hosting a free live webinar titled
Direct Contracting 101: Opportunity for SNF/PAC to Lead? on December 8 at 2 p.m. EST. The live webinar will be repeated again on December 10 at 10 a.m. EST for those who cannot attend on December 8. Participants will learn about Direct Contracting -- one of the newest, voluntary Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) risk sharing models aimed at transforming care delivery and moving providers from volume to value.
Direct Contracting is based on lessons learned from ACOs and features of Medicare Advantage and encourages participation by organizations serving dually eligible and complex needs populations. It provides a potential path for innovative SNF/PAC providers to lead in managing risk. The webinar will focus on key features of Direct Contracting, participation options, beneficiary criteria, payment and quality, model waivers, and opportunities for SNF/PAC providers.
These live webinars are offered as part of the AHCA/NCAL
Population Health Management (PHM) Innovation Lab which launched earlier this year. Phase I of the PHM Innovation Lab contains free “AHCA/NCAL Member Only” foundational resources designed to introduce AHCA/NCAL assisted living, nursing facility and intermediate care facility members and their staff to the wide array of PHM models available today and in the future.
