The “Quality Award Opener” video showcases the commitment, hard work, and ongoing reflection that long term care facilities across the nation must invest when they choose to pursue an AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award. This year, the program is celebrating its 30th anniversary and the more than 8,000 facilities that have reaffirmed their commitment to quality care through the program since its inception in 1996.
“Perspectives: Heart of a Servant” is a deep and introspective look at the mission, staff, and care provided at Mountain View Nursing Home, a Mennonite-run facility in Aroda, VA. The 40-bed, Medicaid-only nursing home is primarily operated by volunteers who live on the Mountain View campus, prioritize servant leadership, and create moments of dignity for every resident at every step of their long term care journey. Delivering Solutions 26, the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, in October.
