TeleHome is a free app designed specifically to help care facilities arrange video calls between residents and family members. With visitation restrictions still in effect, the app's simple and intuitive design makes it very easy for residents to call home. It's HIPAA-compliant, easy to use, and makes it easier for health care providers to arrange virtual visitations.
How it Works
Simply enter the name and cell phone number (or email) of the person you are trying to call. The app sends a text message (or email) with a one-time URL to join the call from a web browser. Users can add an unlimited number of people to the call and the link expires as soon as the session ends.
