“Our quality award journey at the AHCA/NCAL Silver level helped define the processes we already had in place to improve our quality outcomes. For example, we wanted to enhance our customer satisfaction scores. We were able to not only to increase them but were able to be above state and national averages for families and residents. However, none of it would have been possible without routine staff. We were able to eliminate agency usage in July 2022 and have held a turnover rate that is below the national average. In addition, because we had routine staff we admitted and reached full capacity in December 2022. Overall, at Joe-Anne Burgin Health & Rehabilitation, we embrace excellence and want to continue our quality award journey to be the best skilled nursing facility we can be for our community!"
