NCAL DAY | Leading and Supporting Today’s Assisted Living Workforce

As resident needs become more complex, assisted living staff are coordinating with more care partners and carrying greater responsibility each day. Clinical leaders need support to guide their teams through these changes, and experienced employees need workplaces where they can do good work without burning out. Leadership, communication, and retention all show up in the same place: the quality and consistency of resident care.

NCAL Day on Sunday, October 11, takes these issues out of the abstract. In Elevating and Empowering Clinical Leaders, leaders from Gardant Management Solutions will share steps they have taken to support and retain clinical leaders, including education, peer connections, and closer work across departments. Beyond Four Walls: Wellness Coordination and Connected Care AL will consider how better care coordination and information sharing affect staff workflow and resident outcomes. Chris Vasami will open the day with lessons on resilience and purpose, while Cara Silletto will close with a look at how communication and assumptions affect trust, teamwork, and retention.

Delivering Solutions 26 continues the workforce focus after NCAL Day, with sessions on employee mental health, immigration and international recruitment, leader burnout and resilience, and staffing pressures across long term care.

Join us in Boston, October 11–14. Start with NCAL Day and stay for the full DS26 experience.
