​​The agility that teams have sharpened during the pandemic came in handy sooner than expected for some. When many Texas centers faced power outages and frozen pipes during a recent cold snap, they stepped up to the plate.

“When our water went out, our staff leaders were at the laundromat doing laundry,” says Buster Peter, an administrator in Austin.
