The Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health in Nursing Facilities (COE-NF) has announced new educational events for May, many of which offer ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) and NAB (National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Board) credits.

In addition to the resources and April education events listed below, COE-NF continues to provide tailored technical assistance, including individualized plans to assist your facility with specific behavioral health needs and training as required.

COE-NF is also adding new on-demand training videos, which include bite-sized learning sessions and longer video modules with pre/post-tests covering a variety of topics. Additionally, they offer a wide array of resources on numerous mental health topics through their resource hub

Behavioral Health Action Network
Starting in May 2024, COE-NF will host six monthly one-hour cohort sessions, which are free to attend. This series aims to enhance the behavioral health knowledge and skills of ALL staff working in nursing homes, with each session building upon the previous one. It is designed for participants to attend every session over the six-month period.

Benefits of Attending:
Participants will learn best practices from subject matter experts, gain access to monthly open office hours for live Q&A, and receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
