Some skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) have implemented a specific diet standard, titled the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI). The IDDSI Framework Documents provide guidelines to produce safer food and drinks for residents who benefit from a texture modified diet.
